This is a commissioned flyer for The Nest, a concert venue in St. Louis. The ambiguous, yet striking imagery was meant to evoke a melancholic sense of realism, reflecting the sound of the headlining band "Peaer".
Moist Supreme Cake Mix Packaging
A revision of Pillsbury's Cake Mix box, which had previously been made to look too factory made and was cluttered with type. The redesign aims for a cleaner and design while maintaining the production costs. Typographically, the logo was inspired by the metal wires of a whisk.
Folly Jazz Series: Alicia Olatuja Quintet
This is the branding of a jazz concert performed by Alicia Olatuja for the Folly Jazz Series. It was inspired by her slow tempo and mysterious voice to create soft imagery that references a serene night sky.
This is a proposed sculpture that that would be placed in-between the Painting building and Irving building on KCAI's campus. The sculpture is intended to portray KCAI as the cultural core/hub of Kansas City. At night, the sculpture will be lit up on the inside, which illuminates square incisions made on each portion on the sphere.

James Victore Lecture Poster
This is a hypothetical poster designed for a guest lecture that would be given by James Victore at my school (KCAI). I drew from his aggressive and reactionary style and put it in a gallery setting, in connection with the title of the lecture. I chose this title because it not only played off his narcissistic personality but it also felt enticing.

A magazine article designed around the disappearance of Amelia Earhart. I experiment with legibility and texture as a way of alluding toward the mystery of her last whereabouts.
